Hello Fellow poker players I just got back from AC ( The Borgata ) I played triple play joker poker over the weekend. As of last night hit has not hit yet. The jackpot as of last night or in the early morning hours was $90,000 plus. Thursday didn't do much. Friday afternoon I did get one straight flush for $125 I lost count of the # of 4of a kinds and full house's . At least they kept me plying for about 1¾ hours. Tried again after dinner. In this session I was lucky and hit 3 straight flush's .. But I didn't get the big jackpot.
There were times you couldn't get a machine. As soon as one person would leave. Someone else would jump in.
I went over to Hard rock on Thursday to get the upgrade on their players card. Which they were giving me $150 slot play. I didn't see to many VP machines. I saw several former TAJ employees who back to work. One friend told me that 30% of the hotel room are renovated. The construction workers have about 5 years of work ahead of them working behind the scenes. Carl Icon really left that place in bad shape.

Off Topic: Do either have Wheel of Fortune also? At Caesars, counter was at $2.4M. I saw a guy really go overboard with it. Trips were +$60 yesterday, but -$250 today including trip cost. Greeted by a swarm at my row. Lady hit a $20,000 DDB RF. Rich get richer, per usual.

Years ago at the Tropicana AC I saw an elderly man who hit a $250,000+ jackpot on a .25 progressive. Highest .25 jackpot I've ever seen. There was a bank of 8/6 DB machines with progressives for a sequential royal in each suit. I believe he hit it in Diamonds.

So the borgata strikes again!

my theory of a busy casino seems to be true, the machines played produces more jackpots and the latest addition is no exception! i was also looking at the jackpot winners on the NJ PDF list of winners, my 2 questions is when someone wins 50k+ are they winning? or still behind?
and how many losers are there that can tolerate these 25$ a turn slot machines? again i see awful alot of winners greater than 50k+ so i wonder if its 1 out of 1000 or 1 out of 10,000? thanks

Yes but does it cost 1.25 or 5$ or 15$a turn? When reading 25¢ off of nj ac jackpot page it can be very mis leading ted
Yes, 3 hands at $1.25 / $3.75.. The Triple Play Joker Poker is at all AC casinos. I was playing it at the Borgata this past weekend. The Progressive was over $83,000 as of Sunday night.
When someone hits the progressive jackpot. It starts over at $50,000 ...

:D I was at the Oceans Casino since Sunday. Taking advantage of the 2 free days of the tier upgrades they were giving out. I did notice they had the Triple Play joker Poker VP machines in 25¢ and $1 denominations. The 25¢ jackpot was at $57,xxx and rising. The $1 jackpot was at $177, xxx and rising.

I hit a royal in the last two visits to AC one on sept1st at Borgata for 2000 and one on the 30th at the Ocean for 4000. going again this weekend to try for number 3. When the attendant at the Ocean came to check the machine he asked "did you ever win here before?" I replied " no one ever wins here".
