That calls for multiple beers vman. Since you were not in Connecticut to share them with me I will just have to drink them for you tomorrow night. Great show keep it going
Hope they tasted good! One of these days I would like to get up there!

And Yeungling? I think it's a bit overrated by others. I gave it about a 3.5 of 5. I prefer Amber Bock actually.

Vman....800 is not too much to carry to Vegas *L*. All the times I have been to Elis Island I have never had the root beer but everyone says it is really good. I have played in that tourny many times. It is ideal for us because it relies on spped so the weaker players never finish. Oh and you are right the machines are really loose so you get way better scores than you should. I have had a few royals and many aces with kickers on those machines. If only it were that easy.

I was at Orleans Sept 19,20 and 21st. Maybe we were there at the same time. Nice hit on the royal. That really makes a trip.

You spend a lot of time on these trip reports and I want to thank you. Your pics are really good. I always enjoy the read. Makes me feel like I am with you.
Yeah I know $800 isn't too much for Vegas, I'm weird. Glad to know it wasn't just us on those tourney deals. We were there two weeks before you. I took awhile to get the report here. And yes, try that root beer!

Vman sure knows his VP and drinks a lot - haha. 20 bucks for all those Mr. Miyagis sounds like a deal to me.

Congrats on the spade royal at row 802. That row owes me one. In fact, all of Vegas owes me a royal. I've never hit an unassisted single line Vegas royal. What is that now; 6 above theo trips in a row?

In my book, M is a pretty cool gal for letting you do your own thing on her birthday trip.

I thoroughly enjoyed the read, thanks for posting it here.
Yeah I hope a royal comes for you there soon!

To be honest, looking back at my TRs, it's looking to be 8 "above theo" trips in a row with 5 winning trips in a row. My last trip that was clearly below theo was April 2015. And M won that trip with max quarter Aces on DDB at Bond Bar! Wow! I hope this keeps up. If it does, I might reach "Ron-like" status! ;) Lol

And M is definitely tolerant with my late nights. I really need to work on shifting my schedule back a bit in Vegas. But I do feel we tend to avoid gambling until after 10pm a lot. Lol

Thanks everyone for reading!

I said it before, perhaps in a hyperbolic fashion and tone, but I really do mean it: Best Poster on this website.

Vman (a.k.a. Tringlomane) is greatest because (1) He has the "math" of Video Poker down cold; (2) He is articulate without being overly florid in his writing (yes that is a self-inflicted SHOT at me, myself & I) (3) He is the best at snapping high quality relevant, bonafide and LEGITIMATE pictures and subsequently illuminating his posts and threads with this visual dimension .... No small task even now, with the relatively recent so-called improvements to the website. (4) His likability as a person (even among people who have yet to personally meet him) is but one aspect and result of his overall good nature, which is also what makes him so willing, even EAGER, to share his vacations with the entire forum community, thus making it just as readers claim, "like we are there with him" .... and his steadfast effort to go the extra mile when attempting to meet up with either old friends or new online acquaintances shows he is a generous, considerate individual. I could continue with the superlatives but that would be "overly florid".....thanks you for the post(s) Vman.

Question: At the SLS, did you by chance get to physically see, or even eat / drink at the "Bazaar of Meat"....(or is it "Meat Bazaar"??) I've seen and heard that place is actually starting to appear ranked now in some of the Top Ten Steakhouse Listings that matter

Whew! By the time I finished reading your excellent trip report last night I was tired and went to bed. You certainly cram a lot of activity into a short stay.

I am surprised at the alcohol content of some of the thousand or so beers you had. One or two of them seemed to border on the content of some wines.

All that fun, and a royal to boot! I's nice that it was in spades, to get that off your list, but, in my book, any suit is just fine.

It is so nice to come home ahead a few dollars ahead. Congrats on a great trip.

Nah we are too frugal for that. But I have heard good things about it! It's probably the most popular venue at SLS. The casino itself is definitely still struggling.

And once again, thanks for the compliments!

Thanks! And yeah, I like the stronger stuff generally for better or worse. Generally has astronger flavor plus I need to drink less of them to be tipsy. ;)

And yeah I would have definitely taken a royal in any suit for sure. But it was nice to cross another thing off. :)
