Re: atlantic city i am coming home!
I hit a quad on my second hand of the day, too! But just $31. So I tried Bally's and hit a $62.50 quad. Their uprights have nice pay tables. But I hung around too long on the first machine. $100 ante makes it hard to go. Lost $45 and bolted. Guessed ten coin max at the perfect time. Asking for trouble seeking a dollar level quad. Sure enough, the blood bath was on back at Caesars. Miraculous bailout. Still shuddering.

You stay, you pay. $400 is too much to give back. Maybe $40 of it. I'd rather spend $20 on a movie and snack at Tropicana to kill two hours otherwise spent among so many booby traps and mine fields. Time to enjoy a White House Sub visit, then pick up bread at Formica while I'm across the street.

Last time I checked, there were some multi denomination 99.69% SDB at B Bar.

If you are looking to kill time at The Trop, there is a fantastic old book store two blocks from it, on Artic.

I know exactly what you mean. I do remember walking by that old bookstore, now that you mention it. It hit me like a mirage, so absurdly out of place.

I'm not sure it is still there, but it seemed like it had been around forever.

On Atlantic, though, IIRC.
