The best part of playing Recreational VP is you can play whatever game you wish. From 99% pay tables to lower pay tables, easy games to hard games. Playing for fun is much more fun then hammering away at a promotion on 9/6 jacks while being board out of your mind for hours. Been there done that.
Wife and I spent Thursday night for the Queens Birthday. Played till 4am with nothing much to show for it. Playing $2.50 to $5 bets I hit the sack down 1k playing JOB,BP and some NSUD.
Friday up at 10am ready for more play. I had $125 in free play and held my own at the quarter level for about 3 hours playing JOB. Back to even for the day but still looking to get my 1k back, I head to the Ascend Bar for some TTB and its really busy in there. I see 3 machines open out of 60 plus.
I sit down after 10 hands only getting my bet back once, I cash out for the next open machine.
On the next machine third hand am dealt 3 Aces with 3,4 of spades, hold 3 aces and 3 of spades looking to beat that 1 in 47 odds, dud, no ace.
Six hands later dealt 3 deuces and an Ace. Another 1 in 47 shot at a jackpot, Ba-Bang! Two of clubs came in, 4000 coin hit! Been playing this game on and off for months and finally got one.
Good Luck Chasing the Royal!

Also finally bored out of my mind on quarter or dollar JOB machines with no denominational options. So: I must dump Caesars.

Nice wildman, keeping the bilge pump working to minimize the flooding in the hull always helps.

Congrats! Are you remembering to hold 22A, 33A, and 44A when you play though?

Amen brother. Video poker is the most flexible game in the casino. No matter what your pleasure or limitations, it's adaptable to it. Even in it's worst forms, it normally has the smallest house edge in the casino.wildman49 wrote: ↑Sun Dec 02, 2018 9:07 amThe best part of playing Recreational VP is you can play whatever game you wish. I have never had the guts to play TDB for money. I play it regularly on this website. It's a roller coaster ride for sure. Enjoy!

Yes Vman, I do them holds, I built the game into VPW and know the right holds. This game is really easy to learn. One just needs a good bankroll roll and gritting your teeth when you get them 4 card draw chances!

IIRC, the cycle of a 4000 coin payout on TTB is around 6000 hands.
