Bufalo Gold - LOVE IT!!

Post by munrosm »

In September this year, I was playing Buffalo Gold at The California in LV (our home away from home) and playing $1.80 a pull. Went into a bonus round, which are few and far between on any Buffalo Gold machine, and started off really well. I kept getting bonuses within bonuses. Ended up with $3,581.91. I couldn't believe it. My husband videotaped part of this round. Wow, my biggest ever penny hit!!! That's why we love The California. During this same trip, I also hit for 2 regular royals ($0.25) and 1 progressive royal (also $0.25). Needless to say, I took home more $$ than I brought. BEST. TRIP. EVER.

I'm very happy for you! I'm always glad when someone hits playing slots, especially penny slots since most casinos derive such a large portion of their slot winnings, and their profit margins, from penny slots! The reality for most penny slot pullers is a downward slope in bankroll, often steep because despite the image of penny slots being low roller games, the reality is just what you reported....playing 1¢ slots often involves LARGE AMOUNTS per pull/push-of-the-button! You stated you were wagering $1.80 per round, whereas your video poker games only cost $1.25 per round! But penny slots can often cost $3, $5, $7, or more a shot!!!! You can see where this can go.....

Another issue with slots is many of the "wins" are less than your bet. At least with VP you recoup your bet or greater on every winning hand. What really sucks is the BONUS rounds that give you squat. You could play slots and while winning almost every spin still drain your credits to nothing. So frustrating and insulting.

I have been going to casino's since mid 1990's I have won 3 times small amounts … 1 time 1400$ -1600$ 2100$ … that's not real good odds lol for the years .at least 2 times a week some people would give up probably .
