I get out of Dodge and head to Foxwoods after a tech tells me it won’t be operable that night. If my favorite machine is busy or down at Foxwoods, I will just sit at the bar for awhile and and play little nickel vp game. Not long ago at Foxwoods, they had a small area roped off with yellow tape. My favorite machine was inside the roped area. They had chosen to set up the box changing cage right there. Security told me it would be like that at least 2 hours. This was 4 AM. Since I had rooms at both casinos I just packed up and left and took the fifteen minute ride back to Mohegan. My fav machine was open and by 530 AM I had hit a Royal on it. This was only about a month ago

Our casinos are always moving machines around or are under construction. Sometimes finding your favorite machine is a challenge. Luckily, they have lots of machines. If I can't find Deuces Wild, I fall back to Bonus Poker. The rare times I am forced to play Double Double Bonus all day have always been a blood bath. If I ever play that game, it's for a very short time and I run with any win.

Ialways hope I can find my machine. I tend to oveeat if it is in use or out of seevice. Unless I go to the bar, The 99 percent machines are there, but so are the drunks, the non stop gabbers who don’t play, the smoke at eye level, and the sticky buttons from spilled drinks.

What we should, I repeat should, do is walk next door. Same odds. No regressive progressives mercilessly sucking up our BR like there's no tomorrow.
