You can beat casino on $100 a day in AC. Make it a 60 minute session. Like the short stack at IHOP or short films. Downsizing mentality.

If you bet 5, it's always positive long-term.FloridaPhil wrote: βFri May 31, 2019 2:41 pmI think playing video poker on this website is great. I can't imagine how much money it has saved me by keeping me out of the casino. It lets me play games I would never play and odds I will never see.
I went to Tampa today. I had a good day with one quad deuce and a $200 slot jackpot. I stopped by the UltimateX machines today to check out the left over multipliers. I did find a "2" on three lines. I think that hand may have been positive, but I'm not sure? I played it and nothing good happened. Shocking!!
But in the short term anything can happen. At first i even questioned if it was worth it to me because I ran quite badly. Once I started to hit 4 of a kinds at a normal frequency that changed my mind.
A 2X on every line is nearly 195% return (exact number is paytable dependent) when you bet 5.

So far this week I'm ahead a little over $400. For the year, a hell of a lot more! That's only 3 days also, as I did not go on Monday or Wednesday. Time wise, about 3 1/2 hours. Tomorrow, as most Saturdays are, will be juicy.Vman96 wrote: βFri May 31, 2019 8:55 pmIf you bet 5, it's always positive long-term.FloridaPhil wrote: βFri May 31, 2019 2:41 pmI think playing video poker on this website is great. I honestly don't blame Phil for not getting involved in this. He wants to enjoy his time with his wife. But he also said he hates losing money. That's the part I don't understand.

Does anyone like losing money? If you are going to play video poker you are going to lose on occasion. Walking out a winner doesn't keep this from happening. What happens on those days when you never win anything?
Losing does not keep me from playing video poker. If it did, I would have quit a long time ago. The question I must deal with is the amount I am willing to lose. I could play $5 games. My losses would be 10-20 times bigger. Would I get 10-20 times more entertainment for my money? Hardly. Playing quarter games lets me play as much video poker that I want without concerning myself with the cost.

Recreational video poker involves strategy as well. How are we going to discuss video poker strategy without mentioning experts? What is so sensitive about what I said that it shouldn't be said? Experts pay money to advertise their products and expertise on the Internet. I am a customer of these experts. I own three copies of training software and a stack of expert books. Are we banning all discussions about experts or just any disagreement? Please clarify.

Playing what you see above, in that fashion, it's very difficult to have a losing day. And when you do, the amount is small potatoes.FloridaPhil wrote: βSat Jun 01, 2019 3:45 amDoes anyone like losing money? If you are going to play video poker you are going to lose on occasion.
