On your trip through Glacier National Park, did you take the spectacular Going to the Sun road through Logan pass?

Hey Phil,
Video poker along the wall behind the table games? Not sure where that is... are you saying somewhere over by where the Starbucks is? I don't recall seeing vp over there.

We took the Going to the Sun Road. We started at the West entrance and exited at the East entrance, then drove around the park back to the hotel. The road coming back was under construction. It took most of the day. We started early to avoid the traffic.

Enter the casino from the street and walk to the left. Walk past Starbucks all the way to the left rear of the casino. When you see the table games, walk around them to your left. The good machines are all along the left wall behind the table games. Check each machine. All the single line quarter Deuces Wild games are 98.9%. Some of the machines have quarter 8/5 Bonus Poker (99.166%). I think the DDB odds were 9/5.

They have 9/6 Jacks or Better, but they cut the royal flush payout to 2500 coins. I got caught in that trap a few years ago. :x

Wow- never saw a royal flush payout cut to 2500 up there - I will have to be careful.. I usually park at the bar. Thanks for the "map".

It happened to me a couple of years ago. When I checked the Jacks or Better odds on the machines along the wall, I saw they were 9/6. I took a seat and started to play. About 30 minutes later I was dealt four to a royal. I held four cards and the card I needed came up. I had been losing, so I was pretty stoked. When I saw the 2,500 coin pay out I was really pissed. Obviously this was my own fault. I checked this time and the royal is still short. I don't know if it's that way on all the machines.

Glad to hear that. It would be a shame to go there and not take that drive. And, by travelling from west to east, you took the more exciting route.
