Great run and hit and great story. I’m a bit late in responding. Been sooooooo busy with my 95 year young dad. Assisted living in a nice place is ok, but I find I have to do most of the important assisting. Oh well, better than the nursing home thats for sure

Forgot to mention, not only do the W-2Gs kill me on state taxes, they bump AGI enough to where they cause a doubling of Medicare part B premiums. I always have a substantial true loss by year end, bur the way gross gambling income is taxed reminds me of selling a stock and getting taxed on the gross proceeds as if you paid zero for the stock.

Oh well, I guess think of the withholding as a forced savings account. Unfortunately, it doesn’t pay any interest

Hey, olds Sweet C and I sure missed a beautiful weekend up in your neck of the woods-Connecticut. We had planned to go to the UConn football game this past weekend until Uncle Sam took that trip off the books. We were excited to get back to see the beautiful area, two of our fav casinos and perhaps meet up with you. The TV views of the area around the stadium in Storrs looked awesome. Great fall colors coming in. Maybe another day.
