Well it is now affecting us (Bobbi and I). We were just put out of work until March 30th possibly longer. Luckily we are not sick and hope it stays that way.
sorry to heat about your job circumstances. unfortunately, the same fate will happen to millions of others, until situation gets under control.

i do think it is important for all to remember the country where all this began. china's kept this problem a state secret, didn't allow outside experts to assist/intervene, caused a delay to help develop a vaccine and few believe any of the data they do release. and, if the source is really a chineese outdoor meat market where folks eat bats, snakes, etc....well, maybe some practices should not be allowed or examined more closely. and, if it really came from a chineese lab, even worse.

Degenerates are gonna degen. Casino time, full speed ahead. Speaking of science, it may as well be in their DNA.

Why risk community spread by going to a casino now? The best thing for everyone to do is to stay home for a few days and limit social contact to slow the spread of the virus. Wearing a mask isn’t going to help when the virus transfers primarily through surface contact. Are you disinfecting machines before playing?
staying home a few days seems reasonable, but we are not talking about just 'a few days'. this situation is likely to last months.

no sports, no concerts/plays, no events with large crowds, no eating out w/out separation, fear of air travel, doesn't sound like much of a life for many. i am not encouraging unnecessary risk taking, but life must go on, while taking precautions. and, yes, some of us, do wipe down the machines we play, just imagine if every couple of players wiped down the machines, we would have a much healthier place to play. and, if i understand the virus, it is spread thru the air, along with collecting on hard surfaces. thus, the use of masks.

what is safer?;
-eating take out food, where one has no control over the health or cleanliness over the person preparing the food or environment it was prepared in.
-staying in a hotel room or an airbnb rental.
-going to work, where one has no idea of the health of fellow employees.
-going to a doctors office, where the waiting room is full of sick folks.
-going to a casino, where one wears a mask or keeps their distance between others, avoids crowds and wipes down the surface of the machines they play.

Anyway you look at it, each scenario is a gamble. I’m putting off routine Dr. follow ups for now.

As of today 3/14 there is a concert one week from today and tickets are still for sale. Soaring Eagle Casino in Mt. Pleasant MI. has a 3000 seat concert hall. Indian run casino should follow with shutting down events of 500 or more people yes?
