No cashiers cage involved this buyout deal had been going on since the Pats were 14-0, the offers only got better week by week. Try and imagine the sleepless nights after saying "no thanks" over and over again knowing that it might all turn into a worthless piece of paper with one loss.

Upon further thought I'm surprised the book would offer 12000 to 1 on the Pats going 19-0.

I think you meant to say, "Upon further review..."    I've been thinking the same thing.

Finally someone recognizes the fact that you don't get 12,000/1 odds on a bet like that. Another urban myth exposed. My hats off to yall.

I agree that the odds are not reasonable. However, I wouldn't be surprised if the bet was available somewhere.

For those longshot players, Green bay 75-1 and the Giants 35-1 provided a good alternative to betting any favorite. The pats are 9/5 for the 2009 Super Bowl in the early line. A little too short for me!---CWA---

Thank you all for not beating on me for my last post.  It seems that VP players in general have a good sense of humor.  I suppose you would have to when you lose !@#$ one out of four times to the casino(if you are lucky!).  I know some football purists that would have had me strung up for that post
