They are few and far between and only a few with the MN paytables. What denomination do you play?

Where do you play in MN? I play at TI and GC Hinckley.

I play 10 or 20 quarter at Hinckley..I really don't like the one's at TI for whatever reason.  I have always done really well over the years at Hinckley so I try to get there more than TI.

I leave for Vegas tomorrow morning and would love to throw some money into a game that I know well but I have never seen them there.  I did see on the database site that Excalibur has $1 OEJ's and since I am staying at NY NY it is close...but I just really don't love the atmosphere at Ex.

I also saw them at Green Valley once when I was watching that show on AE but that was 2 or 3 years ago!

Perhaps Shadow will allow you to rent his personal machine at Sam's Town.

Now that sounds like quite the offer!

Shadow, are you a fellow OEJ's lover?  It definately is different than the other games.  Do they have a lot in Sams town?

The OEJs at Sam's are only 5-coin quarter so you might not be interested. They are located upstairs under the Bingo Blvd sign. I just got back from there a few minutes ago.

The Excalibur has the 900/400/250 paytable (99.96), however, I've never been there so I can't tell you anything else about them. Two stations casinos had the 1000/375/250 paytable (100.28), however, I've heard they may have removed some if not all of them. Both were quarters and I haven't gone back to check on them. The two casinos are a long ways from the strip (Santa Fe and Sunset).

The Tuscany has the 750/375/250 paytable (98.9) in .25 thru $1. The Tuscany is 3-4 blocks east of Bally's. The machines are a couple rows in from the front entrance in machines with maskings for Aces and Faces.

Let me know if you'd any more details.

I've seen other OEJs around LV with much worse paytables that are best avoided. The Palms has 750/375/150 which is only around 95% payback.

In MN I've had better luck at Hinckley as well, but I know several people who claim just the opposite, so I expect it is just normal VP variance. I will be back in MN in less than a month so it's possible we will run into each other sometime. I typically play the 5-coin dollar machines.

Do you live in MN part time?  thank you for all the info..I will have to check out the Ex and see what I can find.  Small price to pay to play my favorite game.  You will have to keep me posted on your trip here, my husband and I like to go up there on Sat and stay.  He plays in the poker tournament and I hit the Willows room to play the 10/20 quarter games.

Yes, I live in Las Vegas in the winter and MN in the summer.  Although, I saw on another forum where a guy lived in Phoenix in the summer and Connecticut in the winter so maybe I have it backwards ....

I am usually in Hinckley on Monday for the BJ tournament and stay overnight. However, I am playing OEJs for the majority of the trip. Usually, I'm in the new high limits area although I occasionally still play the Willows if I can't find an open machine.

Maybe that guy knows something about snow/cold that we have yet to figure out!

you play in the bj tourn?  you might know my husbands uncle...ralph kontos.  He is often driving a lark around but he is always playing in those and he has been for many years.

I haven't played in the new area yet, probably out of habit, but it looks nice now.  My hinckley friends Janelle and her husband Richard play in there now that they took all the oej's out of the bar..that was the usual scene of the crime. Since they pulled my platinum card away I have quit going there as much, too far from home(woodbury) to have to pay for a room now.

I've only played them for a couple of years. I might know the face but not the name. I've never had much luck (skill?) but the 2X points for entering pays for the tournament and then some.

Woodbury is about half way there for me so the Platinum card is always a major goal every year. The free rooms are a necessity for me to keep playing there.  Not too difficult playing once a week unless they decide to raise the requirements.
