As for multi line vs single line, single line at $25 a spin is much more volatile than the same amount in five or ten play. But it is all casino dependent. The one I mention seems to comp all VP similarly, from 8/5 DDB STP to NSUD. The one a few exits down clearly varies comps based on game selection, so the 8/5 DDB STP player will get lots more back end comps than me playing 9/6 BPD and NSUD.
