Try about 400 a week for the Flu last year.
The winter of 2017-18 reportedly had a flu death toll of 80,000 in the US. I hope we never live to repeat anything like that.

Agree, but that puts it about even with the current Covid death rate of 1500 a week

I'm currently wearing a jacket 7 days a week, but that doesn't mean I'll wear it 365 days of the year.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2017%E2%8 ... flu_season

During this month in 2018, flu deaths were running at around 4000 a week because it's a seasonal thing. Incidentally, I mentioned 80k annual total because that's what the headlines said, but Wiki P says they later revised down to 52k. Almost as if the authorities can't be trusted.

When you transition to keno, do you expect you'll use your same general martingale structure? Or will it need reformulation from scratch for the new game?

I may not play at all. I played a little practice on this site and the Wizards and it reminded me of the mindless slots only worse. I can’t stand games where you don’t have to think. If I did play it however, I think I would just flat bet it. It is just not for me. As to VP, I have to scale way back how fast I increase my bets. Just too many long dud streaks on the newer machines and there are fewer and fewer of the old ones left. I will post a bit more on the Bizarro site when we get back up there. Hopefully soon.

It's just, I think you've accomplished everything that's possible at vp.
