Caesars Rewards 2024 - comp this

Post by dinghy »

Did anything change?

It's still 150k for Seven Stars, subject to approval. Experience credits are 250k each. Seven Stars Elite is 500k.

I see new signature experience options. The most flexible choice remains the $500 folio, available at your choice of property. Or you can take $450 slot play, but only in Vegas. Or Great Gift Wrap Up points, only in Vegas.

For 2 credits, there's an $800 Caesars Palace Forum Shops gift card -- only in Vegas.

They really want players in Vegas.

Here's a development that concerns me. Look at the fine print on the Laughlin tier credit multiplier promos:

https://www.caesars.com/harrahs-laughli ... multiplier
Guests can earn a maximum of 40,000 Tier credits at the first Caesars Rewards Laughlin property they earn at during the promotional period.

Guests can earn an additional 20,000 Tier Credits at the second visited Caesars Rewards Laughlin property.
I don't know what that means, but okay.

Here's the problem:
The annual maximum Tier Credits that can be awarded is 90,000 per guest.
I'm not likely to play the Laughlin market heavily this year, but that could be an inconvenience if applied elsewhere.

Maybe it means if you earn say 40000 at Harrah’s then you could go to the Tropicana and earn no more than 20000. That must be all that is allowed in Laughlin.

I think I understood what they said, but I don't believe them. It's not at all certain they'll program it as stated, and I'll be lacking any method of error detection until it's too late.

That's not to mention the 90k annual limit. Will they provide some way of tracking progress? Doubtful.

They complicate these things for no apparent reason.

Oh, there's a reason. And not in our favor.

In other news, what I have heard in other forums is that the Laurel lounges in AC are no longer serving food- just snacks (as in pretzels, etc) and low grade alcohol. I am waiting to find out about 7Stars lounges. I could not confirm last month as I went when the lounges were closed.

No lounges in NV afaik. Corporate list of Laurel lounges:

All the NV properties give daily food or drink allocations. In Vegas, it's four free drinks for minimum Diamond Plus, and $10 in food for Seven Stars only.

Not sure about Laughlin -- maybe a dining credit?

Reno gives an $8 credit redeemable at any SIPS outlet.

Thanks. I think possibly you have to activate initially at a kiosk, but then it's on your card daily, as shown in the Caesars app. At the kiosk, the big print says Diamond Elite and Seven Stars only -- but the fine print includes Diamond Plus. As usual for comp redemptions, only Caesars-owned restaurants are allowed. Harrah's exclusions are Cinnabon and Red Mango. I believe Starbucks is included, but I haven't tried it. Tropicana only allows Carnegie's Cafe and Brew Brothers. Exclusions are Port of Subs and Poolside Cafe.

On the rule sheet for the 10x TCs, I didn't see any mention of an annual limit.

New wrinkle at the Wrow. One of their common promos is a mystery RC multiplier.

But this month, they required a game type decision -- either slots & tables, or video poker:

I activated video poker and then spun the wheel as usual, and received the minimum (on the Seven Stars wheel) as usual.

From there, any action at slots or tables would have gone un-multiplied.

Does this pizza look burnt to you, or is that how you like it?
