Are $5 Games Beatable?

Agree if not more. 3,000 would be safer in 8 hours of play.

I do not very often play more than two to three and a half hours at a time anymore, so that affects my thinking.

According to the information sheet accompanying the Dancer NSU deuces strategy card, a really bad day will cost in the order of 2700-2800 credits.

I want to clarify the $5 bet…

Is it a $5 machine like one would say a machine is a Quarter or Penny slot, or is it just when you’re at the 5 coin max betting $5 per hand?

It was a shock to my ego after I just sat down at my first VP machine, in a live casino, and lost my money in under 5 minutes. I have found a major difference in live casino vs online gambling. I’m a bigger fan of online casinos.

What got me was the “credits” and the coins and not really knowing what was what and how much it was really worth.

Thanks for the help.

I don't EVER play a machine in displaying "credits" mode. I ALWAYS play in "cash" mode. Casinos want players to be in credits mode because players sometimes don't think about credits in a dollars and cents way. When playing in cash mode, a player is more likely to think more about their money in the machine.

And, judging by your recent spectacular results, that number in the "cash" mode has been pretty nice.

Not as nice as those in this months newsletter, lol...but I'm not complaining.

The first thing I do is switch Credits to Dollars. You know, tactile currency that actually matters.

I almost always play in credit mode. I don't now why. Perhaps I like the bigger number?

But, I have absolutely no difficulty mentally converting that number to dollars, if there is a reason to.

Ditto converting is automatic for me. I still can’t accept the fact that only a very small percentage of people that play know how to convert say 2400 credits to $600 on a quarter machine. It’s just beyond belief and I get asked to help them do it all of the time. Most people like to play credits. Somehow, they think they have more money😬😬😬. The other day when I checked out at a local store, my bill was 10.80. I gave the cashier a nickel and 11.05 telling her I tend to lose my dimes. She just stood there clueless not knowing what to do. I tried to slowly explain it, but she got flustered. I finally said if you just give me a quarter back we are all good. She did, but still had no idea. Just getting back to credit conversion for a moment, telling someone to just divide their credits by four doesn’t work either because they don’t know how to do that. 😬😬😬

Sometimes simple math is not so simple to simpletons.
