Marie I did pick up a nickle royal in Dubuque two weeks ago for my 13th but I wasn't going to brag about $200 since all of yours are dollars!!!!!!!
Sounds like Detroit is the hot spot for good payouts!

Sounds like Detroit is the hot spot for good payouts!Any level royal is cause for celebration and worthy of bragging! How can I catch up when you keep adding royals? More likely, Jeanette, MFP and marie are just playing VP really well instead of MGM Detroit being a hot spot. Tips absorbed from this site have definitely improved my game and for that I am eternally grateful!

I agree that a RF at any denomination is cause for celebration!

Marie, it looks like you and the other site members from Detroit have used info from the site to ramp up your games.  I read online last night that the Greektown casino is filing for bankruptcy protection.  'Fess up.

We took our visiting, non-gambling, English friends to Greektown casino Fri. for lunch comps, at picturesque red-bricked Grape Vine Cafe. First we made them ride the People Mover (4 mile loop, 13 stops) and visited impressive DIA (Detroit Institute of Arts). Then everything hit the fan for Greektown in the news. I noticed a huge empty area on the 2nd floor where tons of machines had been, thinking they were ready to install new ones as part of their mega bucks renovations. I played there way too much before getting luckier at MGM and donated my share to keep them afloat! Their new parking structure with spiral ramps is GORGEOUS, compared to the previous crumbling relic with iffy-scary elevator. Construction on their new hotel looms high overhead. Their own construction blocks and that of highway detours did not help encourage gamblers to visit in recent months. Surely they will remain open and find path out of their financial woes. It's a Kewadin, "Native American" casino, independent of other Kewadin's in MI. We enticed our friends to dine at the nine day old, beautiful buffet at MotorCity casino, Wed. on comps, on the way from Metro airport and avoided rush hour traffic in the process. Thurs, after the fascinating 2 1/2 hr tour through FORD ROUGE Plant in Dearborn where F 150 s (4 x 4 trucks) were being assembled, we dined at BREEZE in MGM on comps. The Brits will have much to relate re American gamblers-casinos when they return! They are urging us to visit them in London and see Paris.  MAIS OUI!
