Does anyone know stats on delt hands vs made hands ?  Example making a royal on the draw 1/40,000 on the deal 1/650,000. In Super aces 4 aces happens with perfefct play every 4210 hands. What about on the deal?

Not very good odds to get it on the deal.

The mathematics is actually quite simple. There are 48 different ways to be dealt 4 aces. The 4 aces plus one of the other 48 cards. Simply divide this value into the total number of dealt hands (2,598,960) = 54145. This number is the same for any dealt 4 of a kind, therefore the odds of getting ANY 4K dealt is 54145/13 =4165.

The total number of hands is 52 cards combined 5 at a time (52 C 5). You knew those combinations and permutations would be useful SOME day

The answer is in my previous post in this thread. 52 cards combined 5 at a time (52 C 5) is 52! / 5!47! = 2598960.

For any combination nCr = n! / r!(n-r)!

If it's been awhile since you looked at combinations the ! means factorial, for example 5! = 5*4*3*2*1.
