Re: Vegas Impressions and little snags
I think he meant beans!!! The jumping bean. OEJ, it was beads but not the jumping variety. The throwing variety as in Mardi Gras. Beads/Katrina/flood. What about Ike? Ask rfonlymama if she has any flood stories about her neck of the woods? Yes sir,the folks along the Mississippi don't like the word flood. OEJ and myself have had our minds corrupted!

Well, we all know he walks on water, so why not his scooter as well?

Funny you mention the opening of Alliante Station. I happened to be there on opening night for the firework show which was spectacular. However, the casino was a different story. Pretty much all the slot machines were acting up and unable to print out the ticket vouchers when you cash out. Slot attendants were running around like chickens with their heads cut off manually cashing out everyone one at a time. It was a bad first impression for Alliante Station. I sat a a slot machine for 30 minutes before a slot attendant could help cash me out.

slayde, Thanks for your funny report on Alliante Station. NOW, I feel much better about missing their opening, when we were in Vegas!
