Losing streak ends
Finally its over and in a big way. I hit a royal flush along with several other things thursday to finish about $6,600 up. So with a friday off what else was there to do but go to Tunica. I got up about a $1,000 and just kinda got stuck there so decided to play one more machine and I would play $2.00 at max on the last $100. First push all day at $2.00, the machine deals me a Q/club,10/club,J/diamond,A/club,K/club. I did'nt hesitate a bit to didcard the J/diamond and bam there it was J/club $8,000 royal. Now I got my bankroll back plus a little.

I had a few down weeks and was feeling shaky but yesterday I went in with a $2K bankroll and was dealt a quad on mulitplier of 5 at STP for $12.5K, putting me up $8.8K Banked most of it but "invested" some on DDB $5 denom and hit AAAA2 for $10K. Walked out whistling $17.6K to the good. It is a grand feeling, ain't it? If only every session went that way!

Good going rascal, I've always been scared of taking on the $5 VP. There are just so few people at the Grand who play the larger denomination VP, for that matter very few play the higher denomination slots. I have been told more than once that those type of players go to the Horseshoe Casino.

Good for you! Ah, life in the fast lane...here in CO we have a $5/bet limit, so the only times I see numbers like that are on my Vega$ trips. Usually I just see them on other players' machines (grumping).

After a few losing trips since my last win I had another nice win but not from a casino. I got a $10k scratch ticket from Missouri yesterday.

Went to Oklahoma last night. Hate going down there! Played nickle VP for a total time of maybe thirty minutes. Lost $30.00 on quarter 9/6 JOB (best hand was two-pair) and another $20.00 on DDB (9/5) and $10.00 on DB (9/6). Best hand on bonus games was one full-house. That's 600 credits folks played 5-coin basically in a half hour!
I know....9/5 and 9/6 on the Bonus games suck, but that's the best it gets down there! I hate even going but the smokes are cheap down there compared to Wichita. But not so cheap after adding in my loses

I went through Okla**** last year and went to a couple of thier establishments I won't call them casinos because they were so bush everything about these places was second rate. I would'nt gamble if they were my only choice. One place actually had a gravel parking lot, I did'nt spend any money and just walked around watching other people play. I was in one place a little over an hour and spent about the same amount of time in the other. Largest thing I ever seen hit was $60.00 and the places were crowded. They did have VP but at the time no one was playing them at either place.
