New Game and odds
There is a new game that I have seen in both Vegas and Laughlin, called Tower Poker - do you think we might see this soon?? Also why is it so difficult to win big jackpots? I do better at the Casinos than I do playing these games? It's just more fun and inviting when you win big occassionaly. Thanks

New, this an older game that came out a couple of years ago. I played it at Sams in 08, quarter denom, 9/6 DDB. interesting game but did see volatility for that extra coin to hit the "tower" jackpot.

Yes, it's been around awhile. Here's an old column about it.

Yeah, I saw the article when it came out but I never have seen the game to see how much it cost to play the 4-line version (or 5-line for Deuces Wild). It looked like unless the pay schedule was pretty high, any strategy would produce a fairly low EV. I was just interested in whether there was some twist that allowed it to be the least bit playable. Also, Ed, the article doesn't mention a "tower" jackpot. What is that? A special dealt hand or something?

New, no special jackpot as I recall but the card denom changed with each winner or something like that. I blew through a Jackson in nothing flat playing 3 lines.
