I played VP @ resorts in july. I played @ the .25 level for about 2hrs. Last week (august) I started my playing session and found that I had $10 slot cash on my card. How did I get the $10 slot cash?
Everytime I play there, I withdraw and reinsert my card and see if I have any points. I never play enough to get any points. It always says, "you have accumulated 0 pts..."
I played again last week for about 1.5 hours. I did the reinsert thing again and did not have any points.
This is just perplexing. I'd like to know to see if I can continue to get that slot cash. # of hands? coin in? what is it?
What's the comp schedule at Resorts in AC?

If Resorts is like the other Casinos in AC, slot cash and points are two separate things. I would not think, that based on what you said you played that, $10 in slot cash is unusual. Points are typically available for comps for meals etc.
Both are usually based on denomination and time on machine.
I'd stop at the Card thingy and see if they can explain why no points. Seems you should have earned a couple anyway. If they use a countdown meter that starts at 20 or something like that , if you pull your card before it starts over you will not get the point.

I was at the Hilton in AC last week. Their system seems to work the same way. The have a count down meter, in 25 cent JorB it’s 8 hands to a point. But once you get a point, the count down starts again but it does not show a runnig total of how many points you have earned. Just like you when I put the card back in it said I earned 0 Points today. Very strange because I just played for over 2 hours. I then went and checked my account on the Kiosk and on that it said I had earned 135 points, which was about what I figured.

Jack,
Now we're getting somewhere. So, does 135 pts equal a certain amount of cashback?

Shiny "points" are different then "cashback". Points are used for meals, rooms etc.. Cashback is only downloadable to the machine and must be played through once. If you hit the cashout button the machine will only give you what you made above the cashback. When using cashback don't download the whole amount unless you are in love with the machine you are on. Jack if you have established a PIN# when you got your card you can check your points at the machine . Just push the $ sign and enter your PIN. It will read out the points earned same as the Kiosk. For cash offers push promo and do the same.
