Even when drawing to an inside straight with no high cards like 7653 of mixed suits, you will have at least one scoring hand more than 99.9% of the time. The odds of hitting absolutely nothing are more than 7000 to 1 on such a hand.If one did observe 100 hands that totaled to no coins, it's more likely that a mistake was made and the actual hold was something like 7652 where there was no possibility of a scoring hand. The probability of making a mistake for most of us is greater than a 7000 to 1 shot.

ugh... I never hold inside straights... I rarely even hold open ended straights or flush draws... but that is just me...In a casino I play at all the time, there are 100 play VP machines. But they are always taken up by someone playing 1 line, at 1 credit, for $0.01... I saw a couple playing the machine like that, 1 line, 1 credit at $0.01, and they were dealt a royal. For a full $2.50 win. They were applauding and screaming with joy...

I also see a lot of that,1 line,1 coin on multi-play.I also get a kick out of the folks that play 1 coin on progressive jackpot games(!) and I see people that play 1 coin on multi-game machines and change the game after each hand! The thing that frosts my cookies is I almost always see these clueless players getting great hand after great hand while perhaps more knowlegable players playing full coin at the best available paytable with as optimun strategy as they are capable of can get their brains beat out without even getting as much as a full house in an hour!!!

Its happens, I was playing a couple of weeks ago got 4 to a royal twice on 100 play. Didn't get it either time out of 200 hands. Then a few hours later I was playing triple play got dealt 4 aces and drew the same kicker (3d) on each hand. Go figure...

It's stupid of a casino to allow that. They should have a way to make it a 25 to 100 play at that denom. One cent bet will not even cover the electricity usage. Probably also scarfing up on free drinks with no tip, at least initially.

They can explain this perfectly. It does seem that I am frequently the only player at the bank getting killed. It's hard not to notice when the machines all around are counting out lengthypays.

I agree 100% they shouldnt allow it... but they do...
If I wanted to play the machines, I would say something... I haven't wanted to play a 100 play machine so I havent asked yet... Maybe next trip...

Some of the 3/5/10 mach's that I have played wont let you play less than 3 hands, I wonder why they allow less than 100 or 50 on the 100 and 50 play mach's. Maybe because the mach would sit idle 99.8% of the time. Im not sure but guessing.
