Re: VP in BILOXI

1. Can anyone give specific games and denominations, pay tables for $1 and under denominations. Our preference would be 25¢/50¢ play.

2 Does it have 3/5 play 25/50 machines? What type of games?

3 What denominations for Spin Poker? games & sample of the pay tables?

4. Does it have lower denomination. 2.5, 10 50/100 multi-hand play machines with decent pay tables?

Any other advice for building up comp/offers?

At our last visit at the Beau, Larry, there were several multi-denom, multi-line VP machines available. There is a row near the Blackjack tables on the main aisle, and then another row to the left of the tables. I played TDB on both rows, with denoms of 25/50/$1. There are also several rows of single line, and a whole row of Double-Pay. I believe there were also other games, but I play mostly TDB. The pay tables are, however, pretty poor, about on par with Vegas Strip pay tables for VP (TDB was 9/5). You will have to look around for Spin or 100-play, as I don't remember off hand if they had any.
As far as comps, they are on the new MLife Players Club, which is where all the MGM Intl Resorts casinos are migrating. Usual story - it takes double "coin-in" on VP versus Slots for credits. Your earned comp $$ show up right on the machine, and they carry over from trip to trip, so you don't have to use them up on this trip. Accounts for you and spouse can be linked, so both players share all benefits of the tier they are at. Earned 'Point Play' can be transferred to Free Play at the machine, so you can use it immediately, or save it up. You can get details other from the Players Club.
I wish you the best of luck. Say "Hi" to my money while there .

Wow 9/5 TDB, I never seen that at the beau, I only found 7/5.  Maybe the finally raised it.  I will have to check it out.  I will be there this weekend.

At the Beau on a dollar machine, we used to get one point per hand played. Now we get two points for every 3 hands played.

Thanks Billyjoe for the input - I forgot to respond earlier. We linked our accounts which is better for us.

I was amazed at how poor the odds were on our recent trip to Biloxi compared to our normal haunts in Lake Charles. Don't plan to go back to Biloxi anytime soon!

I'll take luck over skill. With the low pay tables, being dealt a RF on 25 hands of 5¢ at Isle Biloxi and catching 4 deuces twice and AWAK twice on 25¢ multi-hand at Beau Rivage in one evening however was pure skill....

Well your playing at the two best casinos on the coast IMO.  But sometimes luck is a better factor.  I normally get smoked at all the casinos on the coast.  Then go to the Beau who has the worst paytables I have ever seen but have gotten dealt a Royal and dealt 22223 playing TDB to make it all back in one swoop.  So as the saying goes sometimes its better to be lucky than good.

fwiw, I have noticed my free play has been cut over the past couple of months.  I use to get $320 a week now I get about $90.

We've always got our butt handed to us at the Beau too but I love the resort in general.  We're the same way at the Mirage in LV tho....they have some of the worse pay tables on the strip, yet we have been incredibly lucky there overall, for the past 10 yrs.  I know paytables are important for longevity of play but w/o some luck, it ultimately doesn't matter how good they are.  There is something to be said about playing in a place where "you just feel lucky".  I take my play seriously and want to win as much as anybody, but after all it is ultimately for enjoyment and entertainment so why play somewhere that you don't feel good about?
