Re: Atlantic City news
Taj people-so this year no comped Easter Sunday Brunch-they are having the brunch at the Safari Steakhouse and it costs $30. I told my host no thank you-its like giving me ice in winter. Also they are giving the option of turning comp dollars into slot dollars-2 comps for 1 slot dollar. Ridiculous! I can use those comps 1 for 1 in most restaurants there or the trump store. More ice in winter-its starting to feel like the ice age at the Taj.

Tanqueray's host from the Hilton called today to wish her a Happy Birthday. Nice touch!
Guess the Hilton is further South then the Taj, little warmer there Boops.

Yes, Those were the days! The showboat would exchange comp dollars for cash several years ago. I thought that was a rip-off.
If the Hilton gets sold it might be a good thing. The Golden Nugget purchased the Marina. It will be nice having some new owners in AC.

I don't sense much consternation among the management there about that upcoming possibility. The offers haven't really gone down much there. They run an excellant promo for AC natives. Comp dollars, for one thing, are available for use at local establishments.
Whatever happens we will follow the Host.
