New messaging for Gold members

Gold members, We have a new messaging system in place for you! Look in the top right corner (by the facebook at twitter icons) and you will see a little envelope. That is the new message center, available throughout the entire site. It can also be reached at any time in the "Interact" menu up top.If you have any unread messages, the envelope will show a number on it, letting you know how many new messages there are.To send a Gold member a message, type their screen name into the "to" field. Or, view their player page by clicking on their name throughout the site (top scores board, etc) and click the "send message" link.All messages are kept online for 30 days, and you have control over your own "outbox" to clear out sent messages if you wish (this does not delete the message from a user's inbox).You will also receive a notification in the header when a new message arrives (checked every couple minutes, or when you visit a new page) so new messages will be easy to spot... no more having to come to the forum to find out if anyone has tried to contact you.We will add to and improve the messaging over time.Enjoy!

This does mean that private messages built into the forum are being officially phased out. Ive been going to settings and then clicking on instant messages! Took me forever to find that (-:
