Welcome To the Forum.
I am not surprised from the results from the Trump Plaza and the Hilton. I haven`t had much success in those casino also. Except for the Plaza when I was approach by a " Lady of the evening ".
If you like 9/6 JOB go to the Borgata or another casino that has plenty of them. Some of the paytables are not like Las Vegas. That`s why I`m glad to see Golden Nugget come to A.C. and see what kind of VP they have.

Sorry to hear about your physical problems. I hope you are able to live a fulfilling life and welcome to VP.com. Lots of interesting contests, challenges and information here.I know you mentioned comps were not included in your results. Did you include things like cashback or freeplay? If so, were they different in Vegas vs. AC? That could make a difference. But, assuming you did not include any of these, you managed a return of 99.99% on a 99.54% game. Congratulations, you have living on the right side of the bell curve.

Welcome to the forum. Look forward to your posts. Nothing wrong with 9//6 JOB, the last I checked it was high return/low volatility and a Royal paid the same as DDB/TDB.

I read this post and I notice you only play job9/6. For the number of hands you play I would not be happy with your profits. I prefer to play tdb, i like big payouts. I have been to lake charles 4 time this year and have hit 3 out 4 trips. I have hit for royals for 2000 per hit i normally play 50max. the 4 trips I have net of 3800 dollars not counting rooms food cash back and free play. Now the number I gave you includeds my wifes play, and she could not win with a road map to show her the way.I really think if you have the time to play everyday your idea will win you money, but peo[ple who are weekend warriors like myself have to play  for the big hits. Just my view good luck.

Thanks for all the replies....I knew, after posting my first missive, that someone would ask suspiciously about my life situation being disabled yet being able to spend a lot of time in casinos playing VP....not that I feel compelled to explain myself, I will however share a little more about my situation and how I get about and around in life... I grew up in New England and went to school there;  After college, I moved to Southern California in 1992 for a job opportunity and for the handicap access and climate (I was born with my disability and for the first 35 years or so I was able to lead a fairly normal and full life.)  From 1992 thru 2005 I was fortunate to have a good run in the Consumer Technology field in both So Cal and the SF Bay area (not in programming but more in the Marketing, Sales and Management areas.)  Living in Cali allowed me easy access to Vegas (where my job often took me as well) so I was able to witness the "boom" from the mid 90s thru 2005 and to become a VP fanatic.... In late 2005 my health declined dramatically as often happens to people with my particular disease/condition, to the extent that I could no longer work/perform at the level I had been, so I decided to cash out and move back home to New England where ALL my family lives and most of my real true friends;  I can still get around fairly well in my wheelchair so flying and traveling isnt a big issue, although I cant drive anymore so when I go to Atlantic city these days I take a Bus from my home in New England, and since I live VERY close to Bradley Intn'l Airport I can fly on a moments notice to Vegas.  I am NOT "Rich" but I am fairly comfortable and secure from my time in the Tech/Marketing fields and my investments, plus being single with NO children or obligations other than myself, hopefully you can see how it is possible to live my lifestyle without much difficulty.  I still do some consulting projects at my own pace to bring in a little more income as well as occupy my time when not traveling to my favorite VP destinations!   To answer some other questions/issues:  If I wanted to I could probably play at a much faster pace/clip than I do, and I have witnessed some players get in 14-15 or more hands a minute, their hands are moving so fast pushing the buttons that it is almost a blur!  I am sure some of you are that fast or faster! Regarding Vegas versus AC in terms of comps:  Believe it or not, even though I had grown up in New England, and returned to New England for good in 2006, I had NEVER been to AC before late 2008....I started coming to AC regularly in early 2009, and while I still go to Vegas semi-regularly, I have reduced my Vegas frequency in favor of AC due to rising Airfares and the "drag" of airport security especially in McCarran (being in a Wheelchair it is a MAJOR hassle now going thru security.)  But the comps in AC, in particular at places like the Tropicana and the Hilton tend to be a little more straightforward than some of the Vegas establishments, perhaps even a little more "generous"....the prevalence of comp KIOSKS and paperless comps using your cards in AC, plus the amount of MAIL the AC casinos send to you with comp offers is much more prolific than many of the Vegas establishments I patronize.   AC casinos tend to be more generous with "free" room offers than many Vegas casinos, BUT in Vegas casinos, if you ASK for a specific comp/freebie you are much more likely to receive a "YES" answer than you will in an AC casino....in fact, in most AC joints, unless you are a REAL high roller, it is difficult to find a host willing to give you anything that isnt already offered on your KIOSK players card account. Forgive my newness to this forum, I think what I am now discussing might better be suited in the casino section under Vegas and AC categories.  But in closing, let me say that the level of service found in your typical AC establishment SUCKS compared to most Vegas joints....but that leads us into a discussion of "What's wrong with AC"  vs  "What's wrong with Vegas", and that is definitely worth another seperate thread.
