Thanks for that - that will be exactly what I did !!!  Will perfect my strategy for them now I know they are there.I will be with someone who will be playing on the slots rather than video poker - could someone also recommend some slots at the Orleans that she will enjoy playing for 8 hours a day for 10 days without losing a fortune !!

Good luck with that!!!! We all want to know the answer to that one! A week in Vegas is plenty of time for us and we try to take off for other areas in the middle of that week. Once to Death Valley and Scottie's Castle tour and on to sensational Yosemite. Another time, a 5 hr Greyhound bus tour worked to our advantage. The bus picked us up at one of the strip hotels. Also, hit Laughlin on a couple weekends as much cheaper or comped rooms there on weekends.

Well Sccrabble it looks like you got your answer on the DBDW machines at the Orleans!   I just returned today, and  I found there are a lot of uprights(multi play) throughout the casino that have DBDW on them. -nickel/quarter/dollar. The pay tables are not as you hoped. As far as slots, they have quite a variety of penny up on the floor and dollar up in the high limit room.  I see a lot of winners on the dollar machines near the escalators to the bowling alley.  Also there is a selection of quarter slots in the same area that were paying pretty well also. (I saw some large hits this weekend- none were mine, tho).   I hope you have a great time.  I did. No big VP hits for me this time.  I look forward to going back in about 1 month to try again  I also checked out the quick quads. 2 Uprights- The entire time I was there, I never saw anyone playing them. That is pretty much the story every time I go to the Orleans.  I am surprised they haven't taken them out, like they did a few years ago. They are quarter/fifty /dollar -3/5/10 machines.  They are exactly where you said they would be- near the Canal Street Restaurant.  Be sure to check them out when you are there.  I look forward to your report when you return!
