Changes at Isle Lake Charles

Post by Lucky Larry »

Single hand VP was down yesterday (8-8-11) as machines were being changed to multi-denominations and awaiting state certification. I was told it would be back up by today. Changing to multi-denomination will help increase the options.

Larry, you never mention Coushatta Casino in Kinder, LA. It is the largest casino in LA and only 20 minutes from Lake Charles. I have been playing there almost from the day they first opened. I love the fact that it is land based all on one level, nice rooms, good food, and a good selection of VP machines. When I make my semi monthly trips over to Lake Charles I usually stop at the two casinos in Lake Charles and then end up at Coushatta.

md,
We've played Coushatta a couple of times. The extra 20-30 minutes drive means an extra hour round trip-obviously not a big issue if you stay overnight. More impactive is the fact we've never won at Coushatta. About six months ago I got a nice cash offer out of the blue from Coushatta. We went, played about 4-5 hours and haven't heard a thing since from them. We also couldn't find VP machines that had pay tables higher than Isle. It is large so maybe we missed them but we asked a slot tech who graciously showed us around.   Lots of friends love playing/staying there and some have been really successful.

Any input on the machines, pay returns that you can share might help us give it a try again.
