Can anyone offer some news about VP at The Palazzo in Las Vegas. Any info on this place would be helpful.

The Palazzo actually has a much better selection of machines than its next door cousin, Venetian. If you're a low-limit player (like I am), look for the carousels of nickel machines past the bar toward the Venetian hallway connector. There are a bunch of Quick Quads and Super Super Double machines that pay quite well. There is also a Quarter Progressive bank along that far wall if you want to take a shot at the big bucks :)

We stayed at the Palazzo in June. VP machines were not that great. Much better off the strip. However, you  can't beat the dining at both Palazzo and Venetian.  Buchon's at the Venetian is outstanding asis  the Buchon kiosk for pastries. Mario Batali's restaurant, Morels, etc. are top-notch. Best eateries in  any one Vegas location IMHO.

Incidentally, if you stay  or have stayed at Palazzo or Venetian, they are part of the InterContinental Hotels chain and you can get 2,000 priority club points per stay.

There are no special"good paying" machines.  You cannot beat a bad pay schedule with intuitive decisions, but you can degrade a good pay schedule by not knowing how to play.  Ain't that right, Shadow!
