going to vegas

Post by jc1656 »

I am heading to vegas in june and play $1,2,5 denom. I play bonus deuces wild, double bonus and DDB was wondering if anybody had a place they like to play for these games. I am staying on the strip but only for buisness and will drive to play somewhere else. Thanks for taking the time to reply!

I think the Palms, Silverton and Green Valley Ranch offer good VP paytables and great game selection at various denom's.

You can also try the South Point casino on south Las Vegas Blvd @ Silvereado Ranch. Their poker paytables are right at the top in most denominations. The trbl is that you have to have winning hands 1st, the worry about how good the paytables are.---CWA---

Green Valley Ranch, Red Rock and Boulder Station all have $ DB/DDB as do both Fiestas. The Palms has $ and 2$ DB. Hooters has DBDW in all denoms (not sure if you also like the "double" version of the game) and the Mirage has 5$ BDW. Silverton has all your games at the $ level. All this according to:

The outlying areas are as good or better than Vegas and the traffic is not quite as horrible, and also I play down in Laughlin all the time and seem to do well there. My largest jackpot ever was won in Laughlin.

I usually go to Las Vegas 4x a year, I stay at the Las Vegas Hilton, its a bit off the strip by a block or so, at the end by the Stratosphere (sp) It's a nice crowd, upper and middle class w/no children running around. High ceilings so no smoke clouds. The dollar and up slots and video poker have been very good to me there and if anything you get lots of play time for your money. Because its a bit off the strip they have to fight a little harder to keep their customers coming back. I found myself sitting next to a lot of NV residents, they too have said the comps and play time seem extended more so then any casino's "on" the strip. Very relaxing and never elbow to elbow  with other players, very open floor plan. Have also seen a few movie stars playing at the table games from time to time. Be sure to get yourself a players card at the hotel your staying and any other location you play at. They will send you free rooms and food packages to get you to come again. All you will need is a plane ticket and spending money!! Good times
