Larry,Just got done booking the trip.  (and then my as the nice woman on the other end was wrapping up the conversation - my cell phone lost the connection!  So typical - I can't get good reception in my apartment for love or money.  At least it's booked.My friend who I would take with me can't go that week so could I ask your daughter's name?  Perhaps she and I can meet and have breakfast.  I found out we leave at 7:40 pm Monday night.   We could meet at the airport.And yes, I would really like it if we had a few casinos in Texas - not too close to Austin - an hour or two away would be great.  Close enough to drive for a day (or an overnight) but not so close I could go right after work.  I prefer gambling to be fun - not a habit as or an addiction as Frank constantly reminds us it can be.I have other things to do with my time as I am sure you and wife do also.  But it sure would be nice to have a good casino closer than Lake Charles.Have fun at the Isle.

Would love to meet with you sometime. Carrie opted to cancel her April trip since hubby's work schedule couldn't accommodate the dates and we couldn't go because of conflicts in our schedule. Sweet C and I are now looking for May or June.

I understand not having one too close. Although having one in our immediate area would allow us to save money from eating out - we could just do the casino buffet.
