Thanks for the info about the Palace.  I'm taking a non-smoking friend with me to Beau Rivage on my next trip.  I didn't realize there were good pay tables at the Palace but I was planning on going there with her so we'd both have a break from the smoke (I'm a smoker but can appreciate the value of a non-smoking casino).  Good to know the pay tables are better than the Beau's.  I like single line VP just as much as multi-line so it should be fun.

The Palace is a nice gaming atmosphere, Op. I hope that they do not tighten their pay tables by the time that you get there with your friend.
 
Also, remember that there is a non-smoking section in the Beau, back near the live poker table area. There is a single line bank there, multi-game, multi-denom.

That is where they have the DDB .25 progressives.  The 4AwK and Royal progressives get pretty high once in a while. For a quarter player, it's a nice thing.

You are so right, Phil. I have played there to get out of the smoke areas. If the $0.25 progressive is low, you can ratchet up to $1 single line.

BillyJoe and FloridaPhi,I'll take my friend to the progressive area when she gets tired of the smoke.  She'll enjoy the progressives on $0.25 while I try my hand at $1 if it goes well.  I really don't remember seeing the no-smoking area when I was there in April but I wasn't looking for one anyway.   My friend won't gamble as much as I will so I have some facials at the spa set up for us (comp'd rewards) and some shopping and pool time for us.  She'll love it and perhaps I'll win big the first night and won't gamble for the rest of our three day stay.  Or maybe I'll get real lucky and win enough to pay for my braces I'm getting the end of July.  Life is never dull - thank goodness!Good luck to everyone.
