Question on scoring?

Why doesnt the game keep my score from the original start of playing.  Each time I sign on it begins tracking my score from that point.   If I was 500 ahead but come back later that win is gone and it starts from the new point of play?

If you play a session and end up +500, you should still be +500 when you return on the same day.
 
The scores on the right of the gameplay screen are "Today's" scores for the top 10 list, etc.  So if you came back tomorrow, that score would show 0 to start and you are starting a new score for the day.
 
If you visit your personal dashboard or click on your name in the Top Scores or Nearest Scores list, you can see your overall score for the day/week/month which would include the previous day's +500 plus whatever your score for today was.
