Re: hand held device

Hey that is cool. Why don't they have casino Vp machines that choose the best hold automaticaly for you. It would save time for me and prevent my mistakes(few and small lol). That along with my knowledge of hot and cold cycles, hand held idea, plus 980K I'd be a millionaire.

Interesting statement OEJ.  I played at an Indian Casino in Oklahoma where the machine did automatically "hold" what it was programmed to show as the best hold.  The problem was, it did NOT hold the best way!  Irritated the hell out of me because it really slowed down my play since I not only had to select the correct cards, but also had to de-select the ones it held incorrectly.

What? It held the wrong cards for you? Now those machines made some nice money for the tribe. I may have been inclined to press too hard on those buttons and they might just have become unfunctional.
I would like to see someone come up with a hand held device that you could play video poker games on. About the size of 4 x 6, battery operated and rechargeable.
Of course it would have to be completely random to be realalistic. we could make millions of dollars.
I would need to get a royalty (small) fee for thinking of it.I must be missing something here.  There are many MANY different handheld games.  Pick em up at Wallyworld.  I think I have JOB and Blackjack.  Neither cost more than about $5.
I want one that is endorsed by Webman and Dancer.
Has to have his name on it. It would make OEJ a nice early xmas gift. Hint Hint.

Dunno, but when it tells you to hold a pair of 5's rather than draw to an outside straight (open ended) in DB, you know something is fishy!  That is one way a casino could get around that "no secondary programming" loophole I guess.  But then, those machines were probably Class II and the outcome was predetermined anyway.  Who knows.

Sorry, the only handheld I will endorse vibrates and has nothing to do with video poker.

Now get your mind out of the gutter.  I'm talking about an electric toothbrush.

Me too ... I have winpoker on my cell phone.

Me three...I have several on my PDA (Windows CE).  Shadowman, does your cell phone version of WinPoker let you change paytables and stuff like that?  If so, I'll have to buy a copy of it.

Yes, in a manner of speaking. You end up creating a new named game. This version of winpoker also runs on a windows based PDA. An older version ran on CE.
