Harrah's My Poker

Several Weeks ago Billy Joe noted a new game called Winning Streak. Multilevel similar to MultiStreak poker. He referenced the Harrah's site to play the game. I signed into the site using my total rewards number and under the tab "play for fun", I found My Poker. Under the My poker tab I found Winning Streak. I have played the game for fun (no money) every other day and found it frustrating as every multi level game has to be. I have not read any promotional material about My Poker, but about the third time there I looked at other parts of My poker and found all my stats from playing on line. All the cool stuff---how many hand played, hands won, total royals,straight flushes, and 4 OAK. I played at Harrah's Cherokee a week ago and as I was leaving I saw a bank of MY Poker machines. 25 cents, 50 cents and 1 dollar. The same setup as the online games. I played deuces wild. Low and behold, two days later the stats from playing in the casino showed up on the web site. 379 hands played, 172 hands won,2 royal flushes (with deuces) one straight flush and 38 4OAK. Lastly I had a run of 10 winning hands in a row. I am not touting Harrah's but if the casinos are fiddling with the chips or the RNG or anything else, the numbers will prove the games. I'm guessing AC casinos won't want to be putting those machines then will they? Kidding...I think.

Generally I hate those units though. The only thing worth playing is "Winning Streak", but even that sucks because I bet your deuces paytable looked something like this:

4000/1000/125/80/65/20/15/10/10/5 = 97.45% or 4000/1000/100/50/40/20/20/15/10/5 = 96.37% with perfect play, which no human being likely being very close to perfect on this game. Even the "wizard of odds" even gave up on trying to determine the game's strategy.

Glad you had a good run on it when you tried it for real though.

That is interesting. I believe that the casino stats only will show up, though, for your play on the MY POKER machines, not all the casino VP machines.
 
Still, it does give you some real-time feedback on gaming session/trip results.

Yeah it's just the mypoker units that will keep the stats. Those machines really tilt me though. I would rather be clueless on my stats on an IGT machine.
