Horseshoe Southern Indiana

Post by HiVoltage »

Heading to Southern Indiana in a few weeks. Anyone know what VP games they have there? Looking for some $1,2 and $5 denom's and hopefully some multi play games. Am I going to be disappointed?

You shouldn't be disappointed if you're okay with single line. 9/6 JoB and supposedly 8/5 Super Aces (I never found that game though).

They have a smattering of multiline games, but the paytables aren't nearly as good. I played 97.58% Deuces w/STP for nickels there last year, which is better than most places for nickels.

Anyone been to the HS Southern Indiana recently? VPfree2 says they have 9/6 JOB, but there is a comment saying these machines will be pulled soon.

Anyone know if they are still there?

Thanks

They have a great golf course - I know that.

Also, the management staff is VERY accommodating to Diamond/7Star guests, so don't be afraid to ask for a few comps.

It has been a few years since I visited there, and I know that CET nationwide is rotating out older VP machines, so I am not sure what their current inventory looks like.

Yeah until someone updates again, I would not depend on them remaining there. Reading the comment, I definitely wouldn't count on full pay games left.

It's been updated that they got rid of ALL 99%+ games there, so don't bother going to that place.

Yes, especially from higher volume players, but VP isn't really that important to their bottom line. Slots are. Southern Indiana in particular seriously had too many VP machines when I was there in 2012. Tons were not being used. If they were smart they didn't replace all their units with new ones and ditch the unreplaced old ones.

They did ditch the old machines and replaced them with newer ones but with awful pay tables. No need playing here. I was a regular but no more.
