Sweet C and I are soon off to our annual 2 night New Year's Eve/Day trip to Lake Charles Isle of Capri to close out 2013 and hope for a better 2014. Where did all of our winnings go?.....
What is everyone else doing for New Year's Eve?
Happy New Year's Everyone!

Nothing planned for New Years, just staying home and avoiding the crazies. The Tampa Hard Rock is having a free play drawing today, so I'm heading over there this morning. Lots of luck in Lake Charles and Happy New Year!

Mrs. Minn. and I always have fondue on New Years Eve. We'll get some shrimp, chicken, onion, cauliflower and sweet potato, make a tempura batter and chow down. We'll also probably watch Season 2 of "The Newsroom" on HBO. We're just a couple of old fogies I guess.

Doris, I know what you mean, we are lucky to make the early bird special, and fall asleep watching the news. Or maybe really whoop it up and get a pizza and a movie, life is good!! Happy New Year to friends old and new!! Didn't get a royal this year, but now get to start over, it's a brand new game! kati

Minn, doris, and katipug,
Staying up until midnight is no problem as long as I get my nap or maybe two naps sometime in the afternoon. Of course some years we have also celebrated midnight using the Maritime time zone and gone to bed at ten.
