Re: New Format

Might not be a bad idea as one other member suggested earlier to have some sort of small prize to acknowledge the person who gets the most winning sessions at the end of the monthly contests. In other words the most times over 500 points.

Sounds like the old format of the monthly contest. I think Webman wanted to avoid this because the same people were winning. Personally I enjoyed this format although I never came close to finishing in the top ten.

Not exactly. Under the old monthly contest you would get between 8 and 15 100 game sessions per day. And you did not have to achieve the breakeven point to earn a point. Instead of 500 points you may have to only earn 450 for instance.

The new weekly contests and the fact that you can choose the game you want to play within the contest add variety to the mix and IMO is an improvement over anything I have seen since I began participating in them. If you take three weekly contests and one monthly contest at five sessions of 100 games each, a person could participate in all four of them if they so choose in about an hours time. Those with more time on their hands could do something else such as participate on this forum.

You're right, I had forgotten about the bonus games and the reduced score needed to achieve one. I still like having the option of picking which game I can play.

Me too. And actually reaching breakeven would be more meaningful to me in order to earn a point. I guess we can all wait and see.

[QUOTE=suecasey]I'm disappointed that this month's monthly contest is going to be Double STP, when we've been playing it all this week, too.  How about more variety?  I'd like to see Quick Quads or Dream Card.

Not sure what you mean... Double STP is being featured now, but will not be featured as a contest game again this month.

Perhaps I read the monthly newsletter wrong (a senior moment? lol), but I thought it said that the end-of-month contest for March was going to feature Double STP.  ???

Thanks for the feedback. I definitely think balance is important in the game selection, for different tastes and experiences. We'll probably do 1 keno game a month.Next week is 50 Play Super Times Pay, Multi-Strike and Hyper Bonus Poker... three very different games. After that, I'm open to suggestions from any of the games that we previously ran as Daily Contests.Perhaps 100 play Quick Quads, Spin poker, and a wheel game.

Webman,
Great Job. Now that I have achieved Gold status, at least for a few more days, please put yourself in for a pay raise.
