Back from Laughlin

Just returned from Laughlin. Sat next to a guy that was playing 25 cent Super Times Ten Play. He was playing one of the bonus games. Was dealt 4 Aces with a kicker at 4 times. $20,000! Some of the poker machines in Laughlin do pay off.

We went n a Harrah's junket last year.  Yea, worse VP ever.  We played a little there just to accumulate some points, then went to the Tropicana, where we hit 3 Royals within a few hours on the Suited Royal machines.

everyone says how bad vp is at harrahs vegas but woman next to me was dealt a royal on a double pay for $64000

Excellent thread, excellent posts by all.......koking, I am sorry you had a horrible experience at Harrahs laughlin, and of course I have had the excat same experience MANY MANY times over the last 5 years in a number of casinos in AC (but I cannot say I experienced such statistically aberrant results in the HARRAHS in AC!   go figure....)And Ko king, you never ever need to apologize for posting what you want, or what  you know to be the truth with respect to your own personal experiences and results playing in a casino.   I am glad you did!What is clear to me is that some of you do not like it when people gum up your good time (in your head) with a seat full of reality turds, where the TRUTH hits you square in the face and kills your buzz.     Video Poker USED to be a lot more fun and a lot easier to at least hold your own, if not actually win a profit!    Not the case any longer, and that is without dispute, unless you happen to be BOB Dancer......Ko king's experience is just the latest example.NOW notice I said it is a lot more difficult to hold your own......I DID NOT SAY impossible to hold your own.    borrowing just a little bit of chattychattybangbang's positive fairy dust, it is possible to have, over the course of several months, video poker results that break even or post a profit.......when you employ Bob Dancer's advantage play system it can only help you in the long run.....BUT, due to reasons we still are unable to clearly and cleanly define, it is a lot harder and more rare to accomplish this.
