been there many times, great for gambling years back until they sold to resorts international. Make sure you get a players card. They comp very well and ask for a new room they have been upgrading there rooms. Best thing is the tram is right there if you dont rent a car. Located a paradise which is 1 block over from the strip, easy to get to the other hotels.Food in the coffee shop is super. When your there if people are hitting stay and play if not move to another casino. If you need more info just let me know.

I like downtown as well. You can still get a game with good paytables and usually not so crowded--

I am a VIP at the LV Hilton. We have always stayed there since our first trip about 5 years ago.
We go about twice a year. They do comp very well so be sure and use your card. We usually get a nice suite, limo service to and from the airport and free food card good for the coffee shop and pizza, etc. The video poker is the best, lots of full pay machines. The $5 slots are worth playing $100 or so. I have always hit at least a $1000 on them.
GOOD LUCK!
