Mr Aces and BicycleCardPlayer have the answer here. You must go for the gusto on the DDB games. Only shot to win any significant $ on others would be the RF. Strategy must be implemented at a certain point during session when to jettison pairs for RF opportunity.

Surprised Stations would resort to such a gimmicky non-public friendly game as this. And they are pushing it really hard. The pricks took out the Optimal games (upto$1) in the Tournament area @SSStation and replaced them with this Snake Oil game. Oh btw, they moved the Optimals by the Poker room and lowered the max to 25cents.

My prediction is that GP will not fly and will be scrapped in the not too distant future. Remember that GP was created by IGT and they, with Station Casinos brought this venture to the public. Judging by the amount a machines committed to GP looks like they made a major miscalculation!---CWA---

It will be interesting to see if they completely scrap GP or just cut way back on the number of machines where it is available. I suspect they will go with the latter choice first to use with advertising.

I'm at Sunset Station most everyday, and all of the GP machines are as quiet as church mice. There are more floor people dedicated to those areas w/GP than there are players. I guess the word is out on GP.---CWA---

The guaranteed play poker is getting bashed pretty good here, and rightly so.  The games are so rigged you can not get anything to keep you hanging in there to maybe hit a premium hand.  I am in Palace 3 or 4 times a week and there is no one at these machines at all.  Keeps me wondering why stations keeps advertising these horrible games on the radio all the time.  I guess they are following the usual line about bad products.  Keep advertising and the stupid people will fall in line and donate thier money.  I know I won't.

I actually got a postcard from sunset station offering "free up to 300 hands of GP" a 40 dollar value. I have to setup an appointment to play this slot play. Refreshments are served and presentation will take 90 minutes. Is this even worth the free play?

Free is free. Of course, it would be pretty far down my list of priorities. Although it could be fun playing for a RF on every hand after falling way behind.
