Sounds like a great idea and good for the community too. Hope the kids have the sense not to risk their tuition or book money in the casinos which will be right there along with all of that free alcohol. Boy, I am really showing my age now. Just basing those comments on some of my experiences back at UCONN almost 50 years ago. I still miss working with the wolves up there though. I mean real ones. And of course the dairy bar which I plan to visit for sure this spring. For that matter, why wait. Oh wow Olds, you actually matriculated  way back in the early 1960s????    real wolves???    dang....obviously you were able to experience the pristine Southern Connecticut/New England wildlife and forest that existed back then before the developers came in and wiped it all out!!!But what is this "dairy bar" you mentioned....sounds tasty

Fascinating DB and whomever else might be interested, just Google the UCONN dairy bar and you can read all about it. Started in 1953. Everything made right there. Remember UCONN was originally just an Agricultural school. I haven't been myself in years, but my brother who also went there lives close by so he fills me in. I plan on going soon though. One trip DB and I think you will be back for more. Maybe take in a game while you are there too. VP will have to take a back seat on the 21st when the UCONN girls play UCLA. There. At least I got the word vp in on this post........Actually, the wolves were penned up most of the time. Got to hug them a few times though carefully. They stood taller than me on their hind legs. Of course I am only slightly taller that Danny D...
