WinPoker

Post by clisi »

Does anyone know if there is any plan in the works for a new version of WinPoker which will include new games?
Thanks.

I think the answer to that is a definite maybe.  Recently Dean has updated his mobile version of winpoker. At one time I thought he would never do another update but this may mean his interest has been rekindled.

On the other hand, Jim Wolf has recently released a new version of his software (was Frugal VP). It is now called Wolf Video Poker and you can download a demo at:

Video Poker for Winners is the successor to WinPoker.  $49.95 list price.  Limited function demo available, I think.  Includes Super Times Pay, Spin Poker, Multi-Strike and Multihand up to 100 Hand.  Available on Bob Dancer's website or Las Vegas Advisor.

The demo of VPW is full-featured, it just has a trial period that you must unlock with a purchase after it expires.

Yes and no. It is the Dancer marketing successor to Win6.0. VPW used a different software engineering group than the one used for Win6.0(Zamzow). The style of each of these games is much differnet .
