Again.....Monthlty

Post by johnboy50 »

I asked before but didn't hear back. On average, how many people are playing the monthly everyday? I don't mean how many play during the month, I mean how many play everyday for the entire month?

Thanks

Throughout the month people drop out, for obvious reasons.Looking at December, a little over 3,600 people participated in the Monthly. Of those, 928 people made it halfway through the month.530 people played it to the end.The Monthly contest requires considerably more effort than the other contests, but also has the best odds of a good finish and/or prize.

The monthly is the marathon of all the contests. Several months back I finished in second place. With only 1 royal I might add. Everyone else that month in the top ten had at least three. I was literally wore out by the end. With other commitments it was hard to find the time to do it each day but some how I found the time. Have not played it since. As others have mentioned it would be nice if some allowances were made so you could have a couple of make up days some where along the way. I am semi-retired but still have a hard time finding the time to play every day.

I've played e v e r y  d a y.  I'm ranked Number 684  on the Monthly.  I seriously don't know why I stick around, except to practice and  qualify for the January 7 Star tourney, which I qualified for just today.CK

The Monthly Contest is the greatest thing in this board.

With some modifications, it would be even better.

What modifications do you suggest.

I play everyday. I'm so close to the 7-Star tourney for the first time.

I play everyday as well, but the Royals have eluded me totally in the monthly. I have had buckets full of 4 cards to a Royal, but can't close the deal. This post should give me 7 stars. Good luck everyone.

The modifications are extensively listed in one of my other posts, but primarily have to do with having flexibility in case any days are missed after the 21st day.

Do a lot of people drop out after the 23rd (last date to qualify for the 7-Star Tournament)?
