I think DB should give that a shot. Ads are all over the radio and interviews with Brogata exec. I used to watch wheelchair basketball. Some of those guys are really good. Shooting from the foul line should be interesting for them. Most have excellent arm and upper body strength. DB will probably chime in on this at some point.

DB will probably chime in on this at some point.To pull a page out of Tedlark's book, yes I am quite strong from th ewaist up, as my disability has predominantly affected my lower limbs......pushing a wheelchair around since childhood, combined with as much exercise and weights as I could tolerate and access, has given me good muscle strength in the arms and shoulders and chest, which are essential to shooting a basketball in the seated position since you cannot utilize any power from your legs.If anyone has the inkling or chance, try shooting a basketball from the foul line sitting in a chair, but be careful, do not hurt yourself by overexerting your shoulders or upper back!I have not played wheelchair basketball in many years, but if I practiced shooting foul shots for a couple months, I bet I could make a run at whatever they set up!I wonder if other "SKILLS" will be offered up in game form?    What about games like CHESS or even real time strategy based games (like actual wargames, or live shooter games?)    Many of these already have their own tournaments and events for big money......it seems only natural that casinos in a struggling market might at least  TRY this approach....?

I think their plan is just that to offer more hands on sports type interactions. Don't know about other games. Burned a lot on midnight oil as a kid playing Risk and Stratego with the neighborhood gang especially on rainy day. Even after we were married some 42 plus years ago, we had a few Risk house parties. Grand Funk RR, Led Zep, and Quicksilver, and Pink Floyd booming all the while of course. Some 60's stuff thrown in too, though by the early and mid 70's it was all about rock.

Better double check next time you plop down an entry fee for an Atlantic City HORSE tournament...

Some 60's stuff thrown in too, though by the early and mid 70's it was all about rock.Ha!    I loved RISK (still do!)     They have game tournaments based on all types of board games, from the simple like Risk, to the incredibly complex, like the many HISTORICAL Board Games based on actual battles or wars (like Gettysburg, or Waterloo, or El Alamein or the Battle of Britain, etc..... )... OR, for the really ambitious, their are games like PANZERKRIEG which simulates the war on the eastern front during World War 2, but only focuses on the SOUTHERN Russian front (i.e. The Steppes where armored warfare thrived)......I would love to play for real significant money!
