Winning hands times

Has anyone but me checked the winners log on the daily tournament? You will find that almost all of the big hands are dealt within the first three or four hours.
That means that people living in the eastern time zone need to play at 3 or 4 in the morning to have much of a shot.
I wonder why most of the high scores come early. Has anyone else noticed and are there any theories on why it happens?
