Offer #2 Reno
OK, so we just got another offer from Harrahs. This one is for a 5 night stay at the Harrah's Reno with round trip are fare for two from Orlando Florida to Reno. The offer says the trip costs $409 total. I'm beginning to feel like a high roller... I'm pretty sure there are some gotchas in this deal.

I think it is because hardly anyone is willing to go to Reno compared to Vegas where it is the much more appealing place to go to. I think they will expect five days worth of gambling if they were to offer you a similar offer down the future. If they flew you to Vegas without 7star status, I'd be mightly impressed.
CET is giving away free rooms like never before, but not so much on freeplay.

I agree. We have never received an offer from any casino is Vegas even when I was gambling max coin $1s all day. I guess you have to arrive with a jet load of money to get their attention? It's amazing to me that we are still getting offers at all. I like the way we play now. We pick our games, choose the amount we want to wager and pay our own way. Our wallets like it too...

Thanks for sharing, not the first time but this makes it sound possible to get decent offers from single coin play.
In the past, if I did not show up within 12 months from a visit to a CET location, they'd stop offering me offers. Now and days, I get an e-mail everyday (no joke) of an offer with 2 midweek night stay and one special entity.
For $409, you could use that towards your bankroll and considered that you paid for the travel+hotel expense (minus the resort fees) to get to Reno, then you could casino hop to the PepperMill.

The offers are still coming. We've both been playing the Cheap Strategy for about 2 years now and it seems we are getting more offers now than ever. I'm sure it's because we were put on some mailing list back when we were betting $2,500 an hour. We both still play all day, but don't approach that number unless we are winning big time. We're planning a trip to Reno/Tahoe this fall, but find it's better to pay our own way and stay where and for as long as we want. We've both been to the party where you are locked in a casino for three days when things are going badly. We like the option of changing scenery if that happens.
