two royals in one session?

Post by fairwayray »

The leader of the monthly had two royals, or at least over 8,000 points in one session on the second. He or she has also hit another one since then. I can see hitting one as webman says with all the hands dealt they are bound to happen. But two in one session of 100 hands seems to me to be suspicious. I wonder if it has ever happened in a reagular casino and if so, what would they do about it? Just seems hinkey to have three royals in 4 days.

As edog so eloquently puts it, you have to be in the inner circle to get those type of results. Its a well kept secret on how to get in the inner circle that only a few people besides webman know about.

Two royals in a 100 hand session seems a remote possibility. However, I recently hit two royals in Biloxi on the same machine one hour and eight minutes apart. I play about 300 hands per hour. These were only the 2nd and 3rd royals in my life. The casino did nothing about it, but I was playing quarters so there was no hand pay.

Not likely but possible. Saw a lady hit a RF and then Sweet C sat down at the same machine and caught a RF around 20 minutes later. Like Mr. Dawes, I have caught two RF in one session.

In most games (Royal cycle of 40k hands), 2 or more Royals within 100 hands has a probability of occurring in about 1 in 323,761 100-hand sessions.

WAY back in 2011at the TROPICANA in AC, on the VP machines that are located on the extreme south end of the upper (main) casino level (above the entrance to the checkin lobby), I was playing a machine one cold December night, when BOOM I hit a royal playing 9/6/5 DDB 25 cent denom.......roughly 30-35 hands later......BOOM!  a second royal miraculously appeared and I promptly cashed out over $2,125.00        this is also IRONICALLY about the time when my overall luck EVERYWHERE in AC turned from generally lousy (except for the two recent Royals obviously) to EXTREMELY horrendous.....in other words this was the point when I officially and totally noticed the statistically aberrant trends and results of having the non-paying dud hand rate climb way way way above the 55% norm up into the 65-70% range, and essentially STAY there up until I stopped playing VP on a large and regular scale roughly a year and change ago.....coincidence?  sure, obviously, but then again, WHY did the coincidence take place at that point in time?????????
