Re: MEGABUCKS HIT

How often I see their usually homeade tip jar empty when I order a bagel and coffee or just get a takeout pizza. Those people not only work really hard, it is non stop and thankless. Their jar is never empty when I leave.
In Vegas this past weekend, I was returning to Caesars as I see a young man running out the door, with security in hot pursuit. Heading to the elevators, I passed the Starbucks, where I overheard the girl behind the counter telling the officer there how the guy had snatched the tip jar off the counter.

Sad...

MAGBUCKS HIT AT A LOCAL CASINO SUNDAY NIGHT. I'M SAYING THIS BECAUSE I AM VERY DISSAPOINTED WITH THE FAMILY THAT HIT IT! THE MAN THAT WON IT DECIDED TO TAKE A LUMP SUM WHICH MEANS HE TOOK HOME MORE THAN $8M AFTER ALL WAS SAID AND DONE. SECURITY HAD TO SIT WITH THE MAN FOR MORE THAN 5 HOURS UNTIL THE JACKPOT WAS VERIFIED. COCKTAILS SERVED HIM, SLOT TECHS ENTERTAINED HIN AND THE MAN TIPPED NONE OF THEM. NOT A SINGLE DOLLAR AS A THANK YOU FOR BEING THERE. I TOTALLY UNDERSTAND THAT A TIP IS NOT MANDATORY BUT CONSIDERING THESE EMPLOYEES WORK FOR TIPS AND MOST DON'T MAKE ENOUGH MONEY TO PLAY MEGABUCKS OR AN EQUIVELANT, SHOW SOME GRADITUDE!!!!!I lived in Las Vegas in 1990 and frequently ate at a restaurant inside a small casino called The Barbary Coast. One night we went to eat and the restaurant host that we knew came over and sat down and told us this story. A man in his twenties and 3 of his friends were in town gambling and he hit the Megabucks inside the Barbary Coast. The hotel offered him a free suite and comped food hoping he would gamble there. The four of them came to the restaurant, ordered lobster, steak, etc and many drinks, stayed for over an hour and the whole bill was comped. They left the waitress a $5 tip. The host then paused, shook his head, and said "You just can't buy class."

Good luck Gammy and the meter should be up because this story about the Megabucks being hit was first posted in December of 2014.
